Fitch Affirms Front Royal & Warren County Industrial Development Auth (VA) Lease Rev Bonds at 'A+'Fitch Ratings-New York-17 November 2011: As part of its continuous serveillance efforts, Fitch Ratings has affirmed the following rating: --Approximately $66.8 million in Industrial Development Authority of the Town of Front Royal and the County of Warren, Virginia Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 2004B (the bonds) affirmed at 'A+'. Update on Rockland Road/ Winchester Road Construction ProjectThe Route 658 (Rockland Road)/Route 340/522 (Winchester Road) project is nearing completion. The project relocates Route 658 to line up with Route 627 (Reliance Road) and adds turn lanes and a traffic signal at their intersection with Route 340/522. Warren County Completes Refinancing of Bonds - Saves Over $3.8 MillionOn Wednesday, County, School Board and EDA representatives came together to sign documents to complete the refinancing of over $47 million in County bonds through the Virginia Resource Authority. The bonds were part of the 2004 financing for the construction of Skyline High School and Bing Crosby Stadium and the conversion of the Warren County Junior High School into the new Warren County High School and the 2008 financing for the renovation of the former Warren County High School into the new Warren County Middle School and part of the new Warren County Public Safety Building. Employment/Vendor Information for Warren County Power Plant ProjectThe following are two flyers for direct inquiries for employment and procurement for the proposed Warren County Power Plant Project that is being constructed by Dominion Power. The facility will be constructed by Warren County Electric Partners headed by Zachry Industrial, Inc. While they will not be accepting job applications until February 1, 2012, information is being provided for those who are interested. |
