This full-time position is located in the real estate division and is primarily responsible for performing residential property assessments, split offs and consolidation of lots; recording required information for subdivisions; working with boundary line adjustments, real property surveys, etc.; conducting updates on real estate records with multiple software; preparing, editing, and running of annual real estate books and supplements as required to include nine sanitary districts, tax relief for the elderly and disabled, veterans, exemptions and land use to include some income tax knowledge; performing data entry and maintaining related records. General knowledge of standard office practices, experience with MS Word and Excel, strict attention to detail and proofreading skills required, along with strong interpersonal skills. Previous experience and/or knowledge of current real property appraisal principles and practices and electronic mapping is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required and applicant must pass a post-offer criminal background check and a drug-screening test.
