Public Hearings

Citizen Appointments

The Warren County Board of Supervisors will hold public hearings in the Warren County Government Center on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 beginning at 7:30 pm on the following items.  In the event of inclement weather and the hearings are postponed, they will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2017.
  • R2016-09-01 D.R. Horton, Inc. - Request to amend the Warren County Zoning Map and rezone approximately thirty-six and thirty-six hundredths (36.36) +/- acres from Suburban Residential (SR) to Suburban Residential (SR). The properties are located in Blue Ridge Shadows Subdivision on Divot Court, Albatross Court, Fore Court, Flagstick Court, Putter Court, Hickory Shaft Court, Bogey Court, and John Hopkins Drive North. The properties are identified on Tax Map 12J, Section 4 as Lots 25-36; Tax Map 12J, Section 5 as Lots 98-111; Tax Map 12J, Section 5 as Lots 112-119; Tax Map 12J, Section 5 as Lots 131-140, 142, 143, and 152; Tax Map 12J, Section 5 as Lots 120-130; Tax Map 12J, Section 5 as Lots 144-151; and Tax Map 12J, Section 5 as Lots 153-161.
  • Z2016-10-01 Gregory and Mary S. Huson - Request to amend Chapter 180 of the Warren County Code (Zoning Ordinance) to Add “Short-term Tourist Rental” as a Use allowed by Conditional Use Permit in the Rural Residential (RR) Zoning District.
  • 2016-10-02 Gregory and Mary S. Huson – Conditional Use Permit for Short-term Tourist Rental.  The property is located at 4022 Rockland Road in the Shenandoah District, zoned Rural Residential (RR), and identified on Tax Map 14 as Parcel 26.
  • Z2016-10-02 Gregory and Mary S. Huson - Request to amend Chapter 180 of the Warren County Code (Zoning Ordinance) to Add a Definition of “Rural Events Facility,” to Add “Rural Events Facility” as a Use allowed by Conditional Use Permit in the Rural Residential (RR) Zoning District, and to add Supplementary Regulations for Rural Events Facility.
  • 2016-10-03 Gregory and Mary S. Huson – Conditional Use Permit for Rural Events Facility.  The property is located at 4022 Rockland Road in the Shenandoah District, zoned Rural Residential (RR), and identified on Tax Map 14 as Parcel 26.
  • 2016-10-01 Kristina Kay Hixson – Conditional Use Permit for Short-term Tourist Rental.  The property is located at 2185 Blue Mountain Road in the Shenandoah District, zoned Residential One (R-1), and identified on Tax Map 15E, Section 6, Block 6 as Parcel 785A.
  • Proposed License Agreement between County of Warren and Potomac Edison Company to use County-owned Property off Country Club Road
  • Proposed Ordinance to Amend and Re-ordain Warren County Code Section 117-3 to require that No Business License may be Issued or Renewed until the Applicant has paid All Delinquent Taxes owed by the Business to the County
  • Proposed Ordinance to Ordain Warren County Code Section 76-9.1 to require Payment of Delinquent Real Estate Taxes owed to the County for the Subject Property before applying for a Building Permit for the Subject Property
  • Proposed Ordinance to Amend Sections 177-3 of the Warren County Code to add Cedarville Heights to the List of Designated Locations where the Shooting of Firearms is Prohibited
A copy of each of the above items is on file for public inspection during normal business hours in the County Administrator's Office, Warren County Government Center, 220 North Commerce Avenue, Suite 100, Front Royal, Virginia.
