Summary: Sealed proposals for the construction of “Front Royal Golf Club – Stormwater Management Plan” will be received by the County of Warren, Office of the County Administrator, 220 N. Commerce Avenue, Suite 100, Front Royal, Virginia 22630 until 2:00 pm local time, Thursday, August 3, 2017 at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after that time will be returned unopened.
 
The project consists of grading for relocation of approximately 9 acres of gravel parking/laydown areas along with removal of sediment basins and construction of bioretention filters and dry swales on a site related to the Dominion Power project in Warren County, VA.
 
The contractor is reminded that all roadwork must be in accordance with the Virginia Department of Transportation specifications and utility work in accordance with the Town of Front Royal Specifications.
  
Pre-Proposal Meeting: A non-mandatory, pre bid meeting will be conducted on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Warren County Government Center, 220 N. Commerce Avenue, Suite 101, Front Royal, Virginia 22630.

Summary: Sealed proposals for the construction of “Route 340/522 Turn Lane Improvements” will be received by Owner, Front Royal/Warren County Economic Development Authority (EDA), 400-D Kendrick Lane, Front Royal, VA 22630 until 2:00 p.m. local time, Tuesday, July 11, 2017.  This project consists of turn lane improvements along Winchester Road (US Route 340/522) located and to be constructed between Crooked Run Boulevard and Diamond Ridge Drive in Warren County, VA. 
 
Pre-Bid Meeting: A non-mandatory pre bid meeting will be conducted on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Warren County Government Center, 220 N. Commerce Avenue, Suite 100, Front Royal, Virginia 22630.

Notes: Plans and specifications are available for inspection at Pennoni Associates Inc., 117 E. Piccadilly Street, Suite 200, Winchester, VA 22601, at the Warren County Administrator’s office at 220 N. Commerce Avenue, Suite 100, Front Royal, VA 22630 or at the office of the Front Royal/Warren County EDA, 400-D Kendrick Lane, Front Royal, VA 22630.  Prospective bidders may obtain copies of plans and specifications from the Winchester office of Pennoni Associates.
 
A Bid Bond is required for the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid.  The successful contractor will also be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds and Certificates of Insurance.
 
The contractor is reminded that all roadwork must be in accordance with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) specifications and requirements.  All sewer and water utility work in accordance with the Standards and Specifications of the Town of Front Royal.  Final payment will not be made until written correspondence from VDOT and the Town of Front Royal is received stating that all construction work has been approved by and is acceptable to them.
 
Bidders must be registered and licensed as Class A Contractors in the Commonwealth of Virginia as provided by Chapter 11 of Title 54.1 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended which requires evidence of a certificate of registration prior to submittal of a bid. Bidders shall also be prequalified through VDOT’s Contractor Prequalification Program, and shall have received a certification of qualification in accordance with Rules Governing Prequalification Privileges prior to bidding.

Summary: The County of Warren is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or businesses to lease and manage the Front Royal Golf Club located at 902 Country Club Road in Front Royal, Virginia.

Addendum Issued: No addendum have been issued for this procurement.
 
Notes: Any proposal received after 2:00 pm on August 31, 2017 whether by mail or otherwise, will be returned unopened. The time of receipt shall be determined by the clock in the Administrator’s Office. Proposals shall be placed in a sealed, marked envelope with RFP title.  Offeror(s) are responsible for ensuring that their proposal is stamped by Administration Office personnel by the deadline indicated.  Proposals may not be submitted by facsimile or email.
