Summary: Sealed proposals for the construction of “Front Royal Golf Club – Stormwater Management Plan” will be received by the County of Warren, Office of the County Administrator, 220 N. Commerce Avenue, Suite 100, Front Royal, Virginia 22630 until 2:00 pm local time, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after that time will be returned unopened.
 
The project consists of grading for relocation of approximately 9 acres of gravel parking/laydown areas along with removal of sediment basins and construction of bioretention filters and dry swales on a site related to the Dominion Power project in Warren County, VA.
 
The contractor is reminded that all roadwork must be in accordance with the Virginia Department of Transportation specifications and utility work in accordance with the Town of Front Royal Specifications.
  
Pre-Proposal Meeting: A non-mandatory, pre bid meeting will be conducted on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Warren County Government Center, 220 N. Commerce Avenue, Suite 101, Front Royal, Virginia 22630.

Roof Replacements

 

Warren County Community Center and Youth Center Roof Replacement

Summary: Sealed bids marked “Roof Replacement” will be received in the Warren County Administration Office, 220 N. Commerce Avenue, Suite 100, Front Royal, Virginia 22630, through 2:00 PM on Thursday May 11, 2017 when they will be publicly opened and read for the services as described below.
 
The work includes the removal of the existing roofing (EPDM over built-up roofing), existing insulation, and any deteriorated materials and supporting structure uncovered during construction. The contractor shall install new insulation, cover board, 60 Mil TPO roofing membrane, new drains, and coping per GAF recommendations. The membrane, insulation and cover board shall be to the specifications of GAF with no substitutions. Installers shall be a MASTER SELECT CONTRACTOR certified by GAF.
   
Pre-Bid Meeting: A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Warren County Community Center, 538 Villa Avenue, Front Royal, Virginia 22630. Immediately afterwards, a mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Warren County Youth Center at 200 E. 8th Street, Front Royal, Virginia 22630. 
 
Addendum Issued:
Addendum #1 (April 24, 2017): The mandatory pre-bid meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Warren County Community Center, 538 Villa Avenue, Front Royal, Virginia 22630. Immediately afterwards, a mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Warren County Youth Center at 200 E. 8th Street, Front Royal, Virginia 22630. 
 
Notes: Specifications and plans for the project may be obtained at the County Administrator’s Office, 220 N. Commerce Avenue, Suite 100, Front Royal, Virginia 22630, during business hours (Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm).  Prospective bidders may purchase copies of the plans and specifications for a Non-Refundable fee of $50.00.
 
The Bidders must submit their bid on the County’s BID FORM attached to the specifications.  Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked, “Roof Replacement.”  Failure to comply with these requirements shall be cause for rejection of bid.  Any bid received after the announced time and date of opening, whether by mail or otherwise, will not be considered and will be returned unopened.  Electronic Bids will not be accepted. 
 
The County reserves the right to waive formalities and to reject any or all bids.
