Summary: Warren County is accepting bids for snow removal contracts for the Shenandoah Farms Sanitary District. The road system consists of approximately 40 miles of predominantly unpaved roads divided in to 5 defined snow routes. The county is seeking 4x4 trucks with snowplows, trucks equipped with spreaders, motor graders, backhoes, track equipment, and farm tractors. Bid price shall include snow removal equipment with a properly licensed operator. Proof of current liability insurance will be required. Equipment shall be in good operating condition. Warren County reserves the right to examine the type, size, and condition of the proposed equipment. Multiple contractors may be selected to fill routes; it is not a requirement for an individual contractor to have sufficient equipment to fill all routes.
 
Pre-Bid Meeting:  There will be no pre-bid meeting for this procurement.
 
Addendum Issued: No addendum have been issued for this procurement.
 
Notes: Bid application packages are required for submitting rates and may be obtained at the Warren County Government Center in the Administrator’s Office at 220 North Commerce Avenue, Suite 100, Front Royal, VA 22630 or by emailing Robert B. Childress, Deputy County Administrator, at rchildress@warrencountyva.net  for an electronic copy. Bids are due at the above address by 2:00 PM on Monday, September 25, 2017 and shall be submitted in a sealed envelope. Bids should be plainly marked “Snow Removal – Shenandoah Farms Sanitary District”.  Bidders must submit their bid on the County’s Bid Form attached to the specifications.  Any bid received after the announced time and date of opening, whether by mail or otherwise, will not be considered and will be returned, unopened.  The County reserves the right to waive formalities and to reject any and all bids.

Summary: Sealed bids marked “One Late Model Used Ambulance” will be received in the Warren County Department of Finance & Purchasing, 220 N. Commerce Avenue, Suite 200, Front Royal, Virginia 22630 through 11:00 a.m. on September 18, 2017.  Bids will be publicly opened and read at that time for the services as described below.
 
One (1) used Ford F450 4X4 Type 1 Ambulance with the following specifications: (i) model year 2000 or newer; (ii) less than 35,000 miles; (iii) diesel engine; (iv) service ready as approved by the State; and (v) mechanically sound with current State Inspection 
  
Pre-Bid Meeting: There will be no pre-bid meeting held for this procurement.
