Snow Removal Invitation for Bids
Warren County is accepting bids for snow removal contracts for multiple Sanitary Districts managed by the county. The road systems consist of approximately 45 miles of predominantly unpaved roads. The county is seeking 4x4 trucks with snowplows, trucks equipped with spreaders, motor graders, backhoes, track equipment, and farm tractors. Bid price shall include snow removal equipment with a properly licensed operator. Proof of current liability insurance will be required. Equipment shall be in good operating condition. Warren County reserves the right to examine the type, size, and condition of the proposed equipment. Multiple contractors may be selected to fill routes; it is not a requirement for an individual contractor to have sufficient equipment to fill all routes.
Bid application packages are required for submitting rates and may be obtained at the Warren County Government Center in the Administrator’s Office at 220 North Commerce Avenue, Suite 100, Front Royal, VA 22630 or by clicking here for an electronic copy. Bids are due at the above address by 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2018 and shall be submitted in a sealed envelope. Bids should be plainly marked “Snow Removal – Warren County Sanitary Districts”. Bidders must submit their bid on the County’s Bid Form attached to the specifications. Any bid received after the announced time and date of opening, whether by mail or otherwise, will not be considered and will be returned, unopened. Front Royal Golf Club Request for Proposals
The County of Warren is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or businesses to lease and manage the Front Royal Golf Club located at 902 Country Club Road in Front Royal, Virginia. While it is the desire of the County and a current deed restriction that the golf course continue to be used as a golf course, the County is willing to consider other proposals that provide recreation opportunities to the citizens of Warren County and enhance its tax base. The submittal consisting of the original proposal and nine additional copies marked, "A Proposal for Golf Course Management and Use, Front Royal Golf Club", will be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on December 3, 2018 either IN PERSON or SPECIAL COURIER through the U.S. Postal Service to:
Any proposal received after 2:00 p.m. on December 3, 2018 whether by mail or otherwise, will be returned unopened. The time of receipt shall be determined by the clock in the Administrator’s Office. Proposals shall be placed in a sealed, marked envelope with RFP title. Offeror(s) are responsible for ensuring that their proposal is stamped by Administration Office personnel by the deadline indicated. Proposals may not be submitted by facsimile or email.

On the contrary, all responsible individuals and businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. The County of Warren reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals submitted.
